Following the Tucson Invitational, Lawrence Ma met up with Jonathan Wong in Scottsdale to take on TPC Scottsdale's famed Stadium Course. It was fun playing the site of the FBR Open on the PGA Tour -- highlights including visiting the infamous loose impediment, aka Tiger Woods' rock on the 12th, hitting the green on the Par-3 16th and trying to drive No. 17.

Bobby Chang or Ben Hogan? |
Dragons member Bobby Chang joined the fun on Monday the 27th, and the group went over to Grayhawk and played the Raptor Course. Bobby could have used Tiger Woods' locker, but he decided to put his stuff in an adjacent locker. After the round, we hung out for a drink at Phil's Grille. The group was based at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess for the short side trip, and Lawrence took full advantage of the Willow Stream Spa -- he needed it, after six straight days of golf in Arizona.
The gentlemen had dinner at Mastro's in Scottsdale, as recommended by Dragons member Chris Do. This is one of the finest steakhouses in the country, and we were absolutely delighted with our meal -- stone crab claws for starters, onion soups and wedge salads, bone-in filets for Lawrence and Bobby, and a big time porterhouse for Jonathan. Of course, no visit to Mastro's is complete without a taste of the buttercake.
