2012 TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
The Dragons Golf Club's tournament schedule in 2012 features
seven select Club tournaments held at the finer daily-fee and resort
courses of Northern California, as well as private clubs when we are
sponsored by our members. The Chinese Golf Federation's major
Invitationals and the match-play competitions against other Northern
California clubs of the Federation complete our schedule. We are already
in the process of planning the 2013 season, and members are welcomed to
email Avachai Tayjasanant of the
Tournaments Committee with suggestions or offers to sponsor a tournament
at your club. The tentative 2012 tournament schedule, including
Federation Invitational and match-play events, is as follows:
APRIL
- TUCSON CGC INVITATIONAL - OMNI TUCSON NATIONAL, EL CONQUISTADOR, THE PRESERVE and SADDLEBROOKE RANCH, Tucson, Arizona. April 11-14.
- The SEASON OPENER & MEMBERS' RECEPTION at CALIPPE PRESERVE GC, Pleasanton, Calif. Saturday, April 21.
MAY
- COYOTE CREEK GC (TOURNAMENT), San Jose, Calif. Saturday, May 12.
- SACRAMENTO CGC MEMORIAL DAY INVITATIONAL - LINCOLN HILLS GC, Sacamento, Calif. May 26-27.
JUNE
- LAKE MERCED GOLF CLUB & WEEKENDER TEAM DRAFT DINNER, San Francisco, Calif. Thursday, June 21.
- 11th Annual BATTLE OF THE BAY vs. SFCGC, Marin CGC, and Oakland CGC - Saturday, June 23, DIABLO GRANDE (RANCH), Patterson, Calif. The top two (2) teams from the Battle of the Bay advance to compete in the NorCal Cup against Federation teams from Sacramento and the Valley.
JULY
- THE 3RD ANNUAL DRAGONS WEEKENDER - GRAY'S CROSSING GC & OLD GREENWOOD GC, Lake Tahoe, Calif. Sat., July 14 and Sun., July 15. Intra-Club Team Match and 36-hole Medal Play Championship.
AUGUST
- JOINT TOURNAMENT & MATCH WITH THE CENTURY CLUB @ HIDDENBROOKE GC, American Canyon, Calif. Saturday, August 11.
SEPTEMBER
- THE VANCOUVER CGC LABOR DAY INVITATIONAL - NORTHVIEW GC & MORGAN CREEK GC, Vancouver, British Columbia. September 1 & 2.
- SAN JUAN OAKS GC, San Juan Bautista, Calif. Sunday, September 16.
- THE NORCAL CUP - SHADOW LAKES GC, Brentwood, Calif. Sunday, September 23. The top two teams from the BOB will meet the champions of the Valley Cup of the South Bay and Challenge Cup of Sacramento in 8-person team match play.
OCTOBER
